1. Make his morning coffee. If he is the one that starts the pot each morning, wake up five minutes earlier and start it. Better yet, set the timer on the coffee machine and wake up to the smell of fresh coffee together.
2. Since you're there, fill his cup of coffee in the morning. And go ahead and pour it in his to-go mug because you know he is going to be running out the door with no time to drink it.
3. Pack his lunch. Maybe your hubby has the capacity to think ahead and make his lunch the night before, and maybe he relies on Subway sandwiches on the daily. Packing his lunch for him will be a sweet surprise either way.

4. Let him sleep in, just once or twice, while you get up with the kids. As an avid believer that moms should get to stay in bed for as long as they want on weekends, I am not advising this all the time. But it's ok to give him just a taste of that sweet late morning wake up.
5. Take his car to be washed. Run your weekend errands in his car, and swing by the car wash while you're out. He will be excited to have a clean floor to fill with snack wrappers again.
6. Buy accessories for his car. You can take that clean car a step further and buy some accessories to help keep it tidy. A little trash bag can help the floors stay visible. Some dash wipes will keep the steering wheel from getting sticky and the odometer dust-free.
7. Pick up his dry cleaning and get him home faster after work by eliminating a stop for him. Don't let this one be a surprise, though. If he stops to get it and you have already been there, he is going to be confused.

8. Replace his old razor. If you know it's been a while, go ahead trash it and put a new one in it's place. He will be pleasantly surprised to find that he isn't taking off a layer of skin tomorrow morning.
9. Clean up his nightstand. Organize the chaos and toss the trash so his bedside table is less hazardous waste and more useful real estate. Set out a box of tissues, detangle his phone charger, and voila!
10. Put extra water in his car. A jug of water or a flat of bottles can be really useful to keep in the car. Those days when he forgets to bring water with him, he will be happy to find a backup supply.

11. Take him on a weekday lunch date. Show up at his work with a packed lunch, or take him out to eat on his break. Even if you have to bring the kids, it will be a fun distraction from his work worries.
12. Write him love notes. Love notes on the mirror, in his pocket, in his car, or on his pillow serve the simple purpose of reminding him that he is loved. No need to write a sonnet, just a little note will do.
13. Buy him a new pillow. His pillow is probably flat and funky. Go ahead and replace it and let him figure it out when he goes to bed. But don't toss his ancient, flattened one just yet. He may ask for it back.

14. Make plans for him do that thing. You know, the thing he never has time for but used to love? It might be golf, video games with friends, fishing, etc. Reserve some time for him to revisit his old favorite past time, sans guilt.
15. Put actual gloves in his glovebox. In the winter, his cold hands will thank you. Look for gloves that are thin but insulating. The kind that have fingertips that allow you to still operate a phone are nice, too.

16. Tell him he looks nice. You know how good it feels when he tells you you're looking good, so pass it on. Especially if you know that he has a big meeting or is feeling nervous, giving him that extra boost of confidence can mean a lot.
